A makerspace is a communal engineering workshop that provides engineers with the guidance and tools necessary to learn and do REAL engineering. We provide all the tools necessary to do engineering projects and many high level engineering tools that would be prohibitively expensive to buy and operate personally.

Forge Makerspace welcomes 1st grade through 12th grade.

For students to get access to open hours, we require a signed Policies and Liability Waiver and a credit card on file. Sign up here for one of our plans or stop by during one of our open hours and we can set this up.

Yes! We recommend starting with the Makerspace Fundamentals Class! This is the perfect place to start for a first time engineer. This is a rotating course that teaches the basics of using tools, building projects and thinking like an engineer.

Parents and guardians are more than welcome to observe our classes. We kindly ask that if you choose to observe, you do not participate and leave the instructing to the instructors.

First-time students are welcome to participate in a trial class to see if it’s the right fit. Please register for our Open Makerspace Time and students will be charged for that time, rather than the full monthly subscription. A $0.99 fee will be charged when you sign up to secure your card on file.
