A makerspace is a communal engineering workshop that provides engineers with the guidance and tools necessary to learn and do REAL engineering. We provide all the tools necessary to do engineering projects and many high level engineering tools that would be prohibitively expensive to buy and operate personally.

Currently, Forge Makerspace open hours are for students ages 10-18.

For students to get access to open hours, we require a signed Policies and Liability Waiver and a credit card on file. Sign up here for one of our plans or stop by during one of our open hours and we can set this up.

Yes! We recommend starting with the Intro to Basic Hand and Power Tools class. This is the perfect introduction into using tools for any budding engineer. We do limit this class to middle and high school students.

While we wish all parents could observe the classes, we are very limited on space and chairs. If you would like to observe the class, you are welcome to, however, we cannot guarantee there will be space or seating. There is a table and some seating in our courtyard that parents may use. We do ask that if you observe the class, you do not participate and leave the instructing to the instructors.
